To support the education of international students in Australia, the University of Sydney has established the Romy Waterlow Fellowships. The scholarship application is ongoing for the academic year 2022-2023.

This scholarship supports international students who will enroll in postgraduate research in HIV or AIDS or a related field.

Eligibility       

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Master of Social Work, master’s by research, PhD in HIV or AIDS or a related field at the University.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Must be enrolled in a Master of Social Work (Qualifying), master’s by research, Ph.D., undertaking research into social work, or working full time in HIV.
  • Have a degree or diploma in social welfare, social work, psychology, or a related area
  • demonstrate program completion or training in HIV/AIDS or a related area
  • Have at least two years of experience working in HIV or a related field.
