About the Zayed Sustainability Prize
The award ceremony will take place in Abu Dhabi in January 2026, with all finalists’ travel, accommodation, and domestic transportation fully covered by the Abu Dhabi Government. Winners will also receive monetary prizes to further their impactful projects.
Named in honor of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates, this prize was established in 2008 to continue his legacy of sustainability, inclusivity, and humanitarian efforts. So far, 128 winners have been selected, benefiting over 400 million people worldwide.
