Poland NAWA Ulam Program 2025 for International Scholars
Applications are now open for the Poland NAWA Ulam Program 2025, a fully funded opportunity for international researchers to pursue studies in Poland. Organized by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), this program promotes the internationalization of Polish universities and research institutes. Now in its eighth edition, the Ulam NAWA program enables global researchers to conduct research, participate in academic initiatives, and teach at Polish institutions.
Program Summary
The Polish government, through NAWA, fully sponsors this initiative to enhance global academic collaboration. Scholars from all disciplines are encouraged to apply, with no age restrictions. The program allows researchers to stay in Poland for a period of six to twenty-four months, contributing to the advancement of academic and scientific research.
Established on October 1, 2017, NAWA coordinates Poland’s efforts in expanding its higher education and research sector internationally. Its mission is to strengthen Poland’s academic standing through global partnerships and exchanges.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the NAWA Ulam Program 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
✅ Open to scholars from all countries except Russia.
✅ Available for researchers across all academic disciplines.
✅ Must hold a doctoral degree.
✅ Applicants must submit a research plan aligned with the program’s objectives.
✅ No age restrictions apply.
✅ Candidates should be affiliated with a foreign research center or university. However, those who obtained their doctorate after August 31, 2024, are exempt from this requirement.
