KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship 2025-26 for International Students
The Indonesian Government is now accepting applications for the KNB Scholarship 2025-26, open to international students worldwide who wish to study in Indonesia. This fully funded scholarship is available for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs in various fields, including Humanities, Engineering, Science, Education, and Social Science. The Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia offers the Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) Scholarship for students from all countries, with the scholarship covering all expenses for the academic year 2025-2026.

Financial Benefits: The KNB Scholarship provides complete financial support, covering the following:
- A settlement allowance of IDR 1,500,000 upon arrival.
- Living and book allowances during the language course and preparatory programs.
- Monthly allowances for living, research, and books during academic programs.
- Health insurance with a premium of up to IDR 400,000.
- A round-trip international airfare and local transport to the university.
Program Goals:
- To support human resource development in developing countries.
- To foster cultural understanding and strengthen international cooperation.
Duration of Programs:
- Bachelor’s Degree: 8 semesters (Maximum 48 months).
- Master’s Degree: 4 semesters (Maximum 24 months).
- Doctoral Degree: 6 semesters (Maximum 36 months).
Eligible Fields of Study: The scholarship is available in various academic disciplines, including but not limited to:
- Humanities: Literary studies, Linguistics, History, Anthropology, etc.
- Engineering: Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, etc.
- Science: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, etc.
- Social Science: Public Administration, Sociology, Law, Political Science, etc.
- Education: Educational Science, Social Science Education, Primary School Teacher Education, etc.
Required Documents:
- Curriculum Vitae with a recent photo.
- Degree certificate and transcripts.
- Two recommendation letters.
- Health certificate.
- Passport copy.
- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL 80, IELTS 6.0, or equivalent).
- Motivational letter (500 words).
- Parents’ affidavit.

- Applicants must be under 35 years old.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree holders are not eligible).
- Must meet the English language proficiency requirement.
- Must complete the online application form.

- Selection process: February 26 – May 17, 2025.
- Selection results: June 10, 2025.
