ETH Pioneer Fellowship Program 2025 for International Students:
Applications are now open for the ETH Pioneer Fellowship 2025 in Switzerland. This fully funded fellowship offers an opportunity for international students worldwide to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in Zurich. The program is available for Master’s, Doctoral, and Postdoctoral students, and the fellowship spans 10 to 18 months, covering the 2025-2026 academic year.

The fellowship provides two distinct tracks:
- Deep-Tech Incubation Program: This track helps ETH students and researchers commercialize their research-based technologies and ideas, aiming to launch a successful ETH spin-off company.
- Social Impact Incubation Program: This track focuses on developing products and services with a positive social impact, ultimately building scalable spin-off companies from ETH research.

Financial Benefits of the ETH Pioneer Fellowship:
The fellowship will provide a lump sum of CHF 150,000 to cover salary and project costs. The fellowship grants applicants the necessary funds to support their entrepreneurial journey, including:
- Salary costs based on education level
- Research and project-related expenses such as equipment, materials, and software
- Travel and field expenses for industry events and partner engagements
- Tuition fees for the Entrepreneurial Leadership in Technology Ventures program (CHF 9,200 for one candidate)
Eligibility Criteria:
- A master’s or doctoral degree from ETH Zurich
- A team of 1-2 entrepreneurs aiming to commercialize research results (from thesis or postdoctoral research)
- A promising business idea that is not yet commercialized
- Support from a host professor at ETH Zurich for the project
Required Application Documents:
- A brief project summary outlining the innovation and market potential
- A detailed description of the research results and commercialization plan
- A financial plan and milestones for the project
- Full CV with a list of publications and career goals
- A signed letter of support from the host professor
- A 2-minute video presentation of the project
