Applications are now open for the ASF-RMIT Architecture Fellowship, a collaboration between the Alastair Swayn Foundation, RMIT Architecture, and the American Academy in Rome. This prestigious opportunity is designed for early to mid-career Australian architects and designers, offering an eight-week residency in Rome. Participants will have the chance to develop their projects, engage in networking, and attend various Academy events, such as lectures, tours, and cultural visits. Upon completion, fellows are expected to present their work in Australia.

Eligibility Criteria:
Who Can Apply:
- Individuals only (not groups or companies)
- Australian citizens or permanent residents in architecture, landscape design, or related fields
- Australians residing abroad are eligible
Who Cannot Apply:
- Previous ASF grant recipients who failed to meet requirements
- Organizations or businesses
- Applicants with outstanding debts to ASF or RMIT
Selection Process:
- A jury appointed by RMIT Architecture will review applications.
- Final recommendations will be made to the ASF Board for approval.
- Shortlisted candidates may be interviewed.
- Selected fellows will be notified in April 2025.
